Caring for Liberia’s Orphans
At any given time, 50 to 75 children call The Lord’s Prayer Outreach home. They come from some of the most challenging circumstances imaginable. Many are without family, without safety, and without any experience of what it means to be truly cared for.
Today, many of the adults who were raised at TLP have gone on to careers in medicine, law, trades, and beyond. And now they are giving their time, their skills, and their lives to the ministry that once gave everything to them. The family keeps growing. The torch keeps passing.

Education & Community Outreach
When The Lord’s Prayer Academy (TLPA) opened it’s doors in the early 2000’s, many of the children who walked in had never sat in a classroom or held a pencil. Liberia’s years of civil war had taken that away from them. Regardless of age, they began at the beginning with learning to read, write, and count. This foundation changed everything.
Today, TLPA serves 400 students from kindergarten to grade 12, offering full approved curriculum that has been formally recognized by the Liberian Ministry of Education for it’s high educational standards. What began as a few classrooms on a small campus has become one of the most trusted schools in the community.
Children who once had no access to education are now graduating, entering universities, and building futures - not just for themselves, but for the families and communities that will follow them.

Government Partnership
Since 2025 TLP has placed an emphasis on children caught in the web of human trafficking, and the Liberian government has entrusted more than a dozen of these children to TLP’s care - some for the long term, and some for a season of healing.
But what they find is not simply a shelter. They find a family. They find people who know their names, who show up for them, and who share with them the love of Jesus Christ. They learn, they grow, and they begin to discover who they were created to be.

A Church for Spiritual Growth
The Lord’s Prayer Fellowship (TLPF) exists to care for what cannot be measured on a report - a soul. TLPF began as a place of worship woven into the heartbeat of campus life. It has since grown into an independent church that serves not only TLP’s children and staff, but the broader surrounding community as well.
The children are fed. The children are educated. And the children are known by the God who called them by name before they ever arrived at TLP’s gates.
The church is the heart of what we do. It is where faith is planted, where hope is nurtured, and where hurting children learn they are deeply loved.
